Probably sounds silly but I am thankful that I have 8 Reese's peanut butter cups to eat for dessert. I love Reese's and I freeze them rock solid before I eat them. I eat around the outside first and then eat the center in two bites. 8 is a good amount, I usually only eat 4 but it leaves me wanting more every time. I eat a pretty big desert every single night. Usually these bars I like to make using a little sugar, a ton of peanut butter, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder and flour. They come out kind of like brownies. Sometimes I make cookies But when I bake stuff I usually use a lot less sugar than the recipe calls for. Not because I try to avoid sugar but I just don't like things overly sweet all the time. I like my homemade peanut butter bar recipe because peanut butter is good for you in a lot of ways.

This very minute I'm thankful for my little doggy sleeping next to me. She was vaccine-damaged at 3 months, and it was touch and go for several more months, but she's 6 years old now, and does things her vet never thought she would. Also thankful for her vet, and U of I vet med place.
