I just honestly worry that writing is one of my few skills in life and I don't want to monetize it because I think selling creativity is a shitty thing to do.
Writing is one of the hardest jobs you could have. Way harder than most people realize. Try this: Stop writing for publication and start writing stories for you; for yourself. Write those stories that you want to hear, errors, bad punctuation, run-on sentences and all. In ten years from now, you'll browse through that notebook and laugh your ass off. I guarantee.
