How much would I change for the betterment of my cause and ideals? 2.a. How much would it cost me if I were to succeed? 2.b. How much would it cost me if I were to fail?
Compare 2.a and 2.b. Is the answer to 2.a compared to 2.b enough greater to outweigh 1?

Then I went at great length to describe a stop loss maneuver such that the US doesn't end in a split conflict domestically against whites and internationally against China, catching a massive criminal conspiracy of government leadership while maintaining optics. I don't know if anything ever came of it.

In a sad way yes. I only have my life to live and account for currently. I do what I can that I see as worth the effort and potential cost. But it's only that: what I can.
Objectively and personally my life is better than it ever has been, even though my race (Whites, and particularly, Heritage American Settlers) is worse than ever.
What am I supposed to do? Throw away my family, end my family line, all so that most people will simply condemn me? That's foolishness, no matter the era.
Things must get worse before they get better, and all we can do as White men is to prepare, grow families (families are your life line, they hold your position and defend your lineage, grow them) and wait until it gets bad enough to act.
Is that disappointing? Sure. But it's the hand we've been dealt, and Whites have been dealt worse hands in the past and prevailed. Giving up or failing is not an option.
