Koresh didn't kill anyone. The FBI came to his compound and murdered everyone living there without provocation.
Was he not forming a militia of sorts? We know how the government frowns upon Americans for utilizing their 2nd amendment correctly afterall.
He was buying guns for resale, for which he had a license. Yes, protection against superevils was probably a subplot, but ostensibly he was legally retailing small arms.
No. He had his followers and they kept to themselves. The FBI sent in an informant to fabricate a case against Koresh. The warrant was based on the claim that Koresh was a pedophile, but there was never any evidence. Even if he was, the FBI could have waited and picked him up in town without incident instead of laying siege to the compound.
