I eat sardines mixed with mustard, wasabi and mayo. Whip it into a patte type paste and spread the whole deliciousness onto a fine cracker like sociables or ritz. I do a similar thing with fresh smoked salmon except i omit the mustard and wasabi and still use mayo but add a little (I mean very little) dill relish. and a dash of crushed red pepper and an light zing of cayenne pepper powder and a dash of garlic powder.
