Caffeine has a no effect or sometimes reverse effects if you are not well hydrated. Drink some water.

Water is such a pain in the ass. I got things to do, ain’t got time to be drinking water several times a day.

You're likely constipated. Eat 2 grams of vitamin C, enjoy as your headache leaves you along with half a pound.

Funny story, it seems that as you were typing this comment I was dropping my morning deuce. A few hours late, but it’s the weekend.

2 grams of vitamin C would do nothing for me personally. I take 3.5 grams a night.

I have read 'taking vitamins is lol' and 'taking vitamins is a must'. What is your experience?

[–] 1 pt

I take a multivitamin every once in a while along with vitamin d and e. Vitamin C I take religiously. Linus Pauling won two nobel prizes and believed heart attacks were a type of low grade scurvy for years that weakened arterial walls in your heart and plaque built up to overcome this. Vitamin C, he believed, repaired the arterial walls correctly rather than with plaque. After seeing some studies suggest the lining of arterial walls change with vitamin C usage, I started to think he was right. It also has other properties for cancer and viruses that help.

For me, it's about vit C mostly. The other vitamins don't hurt though.

My experience is taking vitamins is a must if your diet is deficient.

So vitamins is being chosen over rectification of the diet, and that is lol

you're definitely constipated.

Yeah. I know, you have a fixation with feces. I knew that already. You're still wrong.

Coffee works by clogging up the space that adenosine occupies in your brain. If you already are tired, caffeine can't prevent the feel tired molecule from doing its thing

Prevention happens first.

Nope, a cup of Kona Coffee always does it for me, and the couple half-cups of silver needle white tea through the day keep the effect going.

Every morning I have "coffee time" for several hours, then I lunch, then I get tired.

Ive had way more energy switching to decaff. First week or two I went to bed early and caught up on sleep, and now a few months in I can run fine on a few hours sleep and Im more hydrated despite drinking way less water.

A compound in the skin of the coffee bean is a diuretic. It's not allowing your digestive system to absorb nutrients from what you have consumed, so your body feels tired.

Coffee is a drug it. Your body goes through homeostasis to try and balance your hormones. If you enjoy highs and lows drink coffee. You get to a point where you just need coffee to function normal. Same thing as meth users.

I also find that coffee in the morning makes things worse.

I don't think a little bit hurts, but it's way better to get the fuck outside and do something. If you have to work at an office, though, coffee helps. But I always notice how much better I feel on vacation. I should, like, go for a walk or something, but I never want to.

No. Then again I don't drink coffee and I maintain my sleep schedule religiously. Try an app called "sleepy time". It calculates sleep cycles so if you tell it when you want to wake up, it will give you multiple times you should fall asleep.

Sorry if it is now ad ridden or nerfed in some other way. I used it years ago and stopped once I got in a good routine.

I’m pretty regular on the sleep cycle usually up at 4:30, though today I slept in. It was damn near 5!

[–] 1 pt

That could do it. An extra half an hour will put you right in the middle of a sleep cycle. If you wake up in the middle of one, you will feel tired. There are people who will only go through one sleep cycle at night and one in the middle of the day. Their total sleep time per day is less than 2 hours, but they have to be very much on schedule, if they miss one or sleep in too much, their day is ruined.

[–] 0 pt

Dang, you got a phd in sleepology?

Overslept? Underslept? Burning out them adrenals?
