Unless it's a flat roof, it shouldn't be the same.

Regardless of the slope of the roof, looking straight down, x square feet of snow weighs the same whether it's on a slope or flat.

Do you think snow says and builds up on sloped roofs as much as on flat surfaces like bridge road surfaces?

This is the assumption in civil engineering design standards. Scroll down 2/3 https://skyciv.com/docs/tech-notes/loading/calculating-roof-snow-loads-w-asce-7-10/

This is sophomore CE material.

I don't believe a shingled roof will shed snow significantly (in terms of design load) until the slope is very much steeper than the slopes typical of covered bridges.
