About a year ago, I Made the switch from Firefox to Brave browser, and use Brave search along with Qwant for my searches, unless i need something Google specific. This is to avoid tracking and censorship.

However, i was recently shown Vivaldi, and wanted to ask if anyone in this community has tried it out over Brave?

Im super happy with Brave, and currently use Waterfox (a branch off from Firefox) To run my Facebook crap in a Facebook Container so that it doesnt scan my search on Brave. (Yes i sadly still use FB i know)

Any input?

I use brave as well, I don't have an alternative, but someone here mentioned that brave search is powered by duckduckgo. If that's true, your still getting altered search results.

Brave Search says they are building their own index, but still they still supplement with other meta results (I think maybe from Bing?). But of course you can change the search function on Brave Browser to whatever you want.

For Google-specific, there are Advanced Chrome, Superbird and Epic browsers. For Firefox derivatives, Basilisk and Comodo Ice Dragon.
