My employer is adamant I work until 10PM today to finish up a task, which would conflict completely with my date. im more surprised they think its ok to allow this practice, but hey. Anyways, I still have a date with that one chick, she agreed to go out on one, she's just been busy. So the question, to bail on the date or keep working?

For those curious, the problem i ahve to fix is a parser system that needs to detect hundreds of different edge cases and issues with a bunch of files, and it doesnt look like today will be the day its fixed if at all

She will probably cancel the date and you will be stuck with no job and no girl.

Tell your boss that you will remote in after 10 to ensure no one is on the network or whatever BS excuse you can give him. Tell him you have diarrhea. Maybe just explain to him that you have a date. I would say try your best to get out of work because work is gay and fucking chicks is not.
