The biggest formula producer in Aus was bought out not long ago by China. Foreign Investment Review Board didn't bat an eyelid. Also, the baby formula here used to have limits on the number you could purchase because Chinese nationals would strip the shelves and send it all home. They still do it, just send in a hoard of people to grab a couple each from the shelves, plenty of vids of this on YT. Wouldn't be at all surprised if they've been surreptitiously buying companies all around the world that produce it and just sending it home direct from manufacturer and ignore local markets.
