I have de-canned the Palladium lattice from an old catalytic converter. It is now sitting comfortably on my shelf in a zip-lock back.

I don't own any chemistry equipment either.But if I were to buy everything I need to do this at home I'd want to make sure I can sell the Palladium for more than I spend on equipment and chemicals.

Can this be done? If it's not economical to do myself might I be able to find someone on Craigslist who has the equipment and knowledge? What about a high school science class? In either situation I would offer to split the finished product 50/50.

That was a super cool video. There might be a dozen chemists in the US that have the knowledge and skills to safely and reliably do all those things. That's not high school level chemistry, that's PhD organic chemistry.

It would be safer to make meth at home than to try and purify palladium.
