I have de-canned the Palladium lattice from an old catalytic converter. It is now sitting comfortably on my shelf in a zip-lock back.

I don't own any chemistry equipment either.But if I were to buy everything I need to do this at home I'd want to make sure I can sell the Palladium for more than I spend on equipment and chemicals.

Can this be done? If it's not economical to do myself might I be able to find someone on Craigslist who has the equipment and knowledge? What about a high school science class? In either situation I would offer to split the finished product 50/50.

You'd want a lot of catalytic converters for it to be worth it.

From a chemistry stand point, meth is easier.

Muriatic acid is easy to work with, but hydrochloric acid is not.

This should not be your first chemistry experiment.

You should open up a shop selling "refurbished" catalytic converters. With all the ones being stolen you should turn a quick profit.

That was a super cool video. There might be a dozen chemists in the US that have the knowledge and skills to safely and reliably do all those things. That's not high school level chemistry, that's PhD organic chemistry.

It would be safer to make meth at home than to try and purify palladium.

Yeah I didn't even watch the video I just saw Coachella and was like good enough. I mean I remember trying to get to Woodstock back in the day you know like the Woodstock 94 and the other ones and I just heard how overly priced and just shitty the conditions were and blah blah blah. people where getting raped for it you know four or $5 a bottle of water and no shade and they burned it all down.
