I mean nothing at all. Maybe we are not humans on a planet hurtling through space. Maybe we are not even individuals, maybe we are not even conscious.

Have you ever considered that true reality is completely different than what we see, hear and feel?

Dude, lay down the weed.

I bet if you got kicked in the nuts it would feel very real.

Hey the weed is just dulling the pain and loneliness so nothing can hurt them. Smoke one for me.

Well said. Take this advice, OP.

The most horrifying reality imaginable, is a simulated reality.

why?

What if reality can be both simulated and not simulated at different time? The brain is an antenna for consciousness, but other kinds of antennas are possible which are built into artificial computers or "soul traps." Normally, we move somewhat freely through the multiverse through magic and faith, but there are civilizations which build soul farms a.k.a. AI training facilities. Consciousness itself of course cannot be simulated else soul trapping is pointless, so while we are trapped in a simulation we are largely separated from other humans unless we are having some form of genuine interaction. However, it takes exponentially more computing power to simulate reality for multiple people, so the soul farmer tries to keep us as isolated as possible, interacting only with NPCs. Furthermore since an already isolated soul is easier to catch, the soul farming civilizations adopt a policy of fucking up the societies of other dimensions as much as possible.

I find it most likely that God created himself, and decided that existence wasn't worth it.

Being outside of Time and Space, he made Time and Space, so that it could Shatter.

And We are His Children, and we are his Duty.

Living out our lives until we die.

Good, I prefer the professional to pitch in their thoughts on complications like this, thanks, those were almost verbatim my first thoughts also on this fucking shithouse of a drug addict lifestyle.

Yes, nearly daily I would say. What really gets me is noticing the synchronicities that arise from supposedly independent occurrences. For example, having a run-in with a house spider, and then the next day having a coworker use the phrase "well as long as any spiders don't jump out at us I think the work is good to go," which he had never previously used before. Is the universe / God messing with me, or did my own consciousness affect reality?

I've asked myself this same question on more than a few occasions.

If you like the simulation theory, check out "lunar wave" if it hasn't been scrubbed from the internet.

also The Thirteenth Floor was pretty cool flick about being in a simulation.

You might not be conscious, but I definitely am because I'm experiencing it. One's own consciousness is the only thing anyone can definitively prove to exist. Though perhaps there's only one consciousness in the universe and it takes a ride one at a time through the perspective of every living entity. Maybe you're just me on a different go through life.
