I’d say 9mm is the most common caliber. But I’m asking what is an “average” gun shot wound? Flesh wound? Solid organ? Chest? Head shot? Belly?

It’s a good question though. What is the percentage of fatal gun shots to gunshots? Plus, what percentage of fatal gunshots were Immediate (dead on scene)?
