Say she is self-employed with child care business. If miss nosy asks for details, say "it's a full time job with loads of responsibilities I don't really understand but she is great at it. I don't think you would be suited for it."

And she has healthy kids, a nice house, gets to go on vacations, get the things she needs, and hasa loving husband.
