Oil is depleting at a slow enough rate that its price will keep going up. As the price goes up it will be used less and less to power cars and more and more for things that can't be produced through other means, or are more expensive to produce through other means (who knows, like plastics, and lubricants). It's only a disaster if oil is cut off very quickly, like if we are relying on foreign oil and suddenly we are no longer receiving it.

Up till recently price of oil was way down

Massively down when accounting for inflation.

How did you factor that in to your conclusion or did you just ignore the results of fracking and oil shales on the oil industry?

How is anything I said in conflict with the price of oil fluctuating? You're not making any sense.

? Actual price is set by supply. Demand is a near constant.

Not to be conflated by Fiat inflation.

Price of oil was declining for years as tech got better.

And now recently supply has been blockaded by our enemies just like they can cut the supply of water to your home. Is that criticism of water?

Can you think and be honest?

Just do you know. Just so that you can't say that you weren't warned.

There is no alternative to oil. None.

We can't make food without it. No oil. No food. Your food is produced by oil and there is nothing. Not even on the horizon. That can change that fact.

No oil. Earth population goes back to pre industrialization size. Brutally.

Do you have anything to back up your claims? How is oil special compared to other fossil fuels?

Farming son

1 farmer for 70 odd people. Born out of immense amounts of cheap energy. There no alternatives to ice tractors.

The oil makes the food. The oil gets the food to the processors. The oil packs the food. You go and collect the food with oil. Though there are some slight alternatives to the last one.

And the story is the same for fisheries.

But don't believe me. Do your own research on industrial farming. Learn how industrial farming changed the maximum size of human population. How industrial farming ended famines. Cycles of pop boom till food production limits were reached

Look up alternatives to oil powered tractors and combines. Good luck

But take this final thought. You hate oil. This is because your enemies trained your brain to hate its own source of life. A viable tactic in war.
