Something I hear all the time, but is it really? It just feels like a composite of whatever bullshit is (((popular))) that day, hedonism, etc. Not really a culture per se. At least in the 60s we had a unifying culture of being white and Christian. but now, what exactly is the culture supposed to be?

I think experiencing some sort of “burn” is a common catalyst for beginning to wake up.

I got burned by a belief system. Coming out of the system provided my initial deprograming from narcissism. But my life fell apart in ways I hadn’t expected. When I finally came to improve my understanding of the causes and effects in my own life I started to see how consistently I was lying to myself. And that new vision also permitted me to more clearly see it in all the world around me.

Its my belief that in this world we only only have two choices. We can choose to focus on the ME that is inside our bodies. This ME is my EGO. And to focus only on that brings nothing but fear. Or we can focus on the ME that is inside everyone else. At the end of the day all roads lead back to the same ME.

Just about ALL organizations and ISMS (beliefs about the world) are narcissistic in structure. They are set up to easily deny the facts that would dispute the lies they tell themselves about themselves.

These organizations almost vibrate energetically in a way and act as attractants to the various flavors of narcissism in us.

I know I have a lot more to learn about it. And still more to overcome myself. But I prefer this world view to those I have chosen to hold in the past.

Your views on stoicism? And how that might help I've started listening to it and need to read it not just listen but it is interesting philosophy and outlook on life for sure

I generally greatly appreciate stoicism. If I find myself attracted to any belief system currently in the world then I would have to say that it’s stoicism.

Also love learning about the ancient Essenes.
