I mean, I just said this

The movies he makes remind me so much of my dreams. It seems like he as access to the other side.
Me too, the pit of tar they come out of is a dream I’d had before the show existed.
You know, the funny thing is that I have the complete show in my collection, including the movies, including the latest episodes, which represents a rather huge chunk of disk space, and I don't want to throw it away, it's a very unique piece of work
But I never watch them, and again not because I don't appreciate the work, obviously
And you know why? Why I never watch it?
Bad waves
It's like something creeps out of his work, something real (yeah I sound weird) as if it was some sort of porte-malheur
>porte-malheur noun A person or thing supposed to bring bad luck jinx → porte-malheur proper noun a jinx Jonah → porte-malheur
Not to sound trite, but I feel like there is a very real dark mirror that is held up to this reality.
Somewhere I often go to when I sleep. I think a lot of people experience the same thing, and attempt to depict it as best they can.
It is almost like here, but really uncanny and tinged with darkness.
But when I look at certain media, I feel like the person in charge of producing it as seen it too.
Like Zelda: Link to the Past, with the mirror universe, or David Lynch with Eraserhead, or in Tetsuo, the Iron Man.
And it isn't really a dream world. It is this world, so close to us, just seeing all the aspects of darkness we usually aren't observant enough to notice.
Talking about mirrors, I learned recently about an old western tradition about mirrors, it was in a ghost documentary "most haunted houses in the US" or something like that. And in the past, they used to cover mirrors when a death happened in a household because they believed that the dead could end up trapped, in mirrors
You ever have any strange dreams?
Oh I got a couple of strange dreams in my short existence yes, here's one poal.co/comment/search/he%20had%20to%20show%20papers
but not with the "weird dim purple dusk" you mentioned above, never
Typically when I start to fall asleep in the plane, over the little table you have in front of you, just like that https://pic8.co/sh/PoPEi4.png but without the weird pillow, head on on crossed arms, arms on the table, I start to see my legs, through the table, in a very clear way, and it's light blue, shades of light blue mostly
