You know, it's really odd that you say that. There is this recurring place that I dream about, and sometimes visit when completely zoning out (astral projection, perhaps?).
The place is a small, two story cabin in the middle of a field. On three sides are a forest, with a mountain facing the front. Behind it, there is more field followed by a beautiful river in a valley, and hills beyond that. It's in perpetual twilight with a purple sky. The foilage ranges from dark green to shades of violet. It's ethereal; it doesn't feel like this planet.
It is completely devoid of animal life and has no other inhabitants. Does that sound familiar?
I don't dream of fields very often, but if I do, it is because I am about to enter a forest.
When I dream of the "mountains" they almost always look like , but perhaps that is just due to where I grew up.
But the dim purple dusk is weird, I feel like I see it all the time, whether my dream is inside or outside, they almost all have that weird tinge to them, and not that I think about it, I almost never dream of daylight
