People where I am have largely abandoned masks, no mandates etc. But I was innawoods for a few days this week and today back in town it seems like the number of maskies has surged again? Did the CDC say things or something?

Dry. And then very fucking wet. Almost slid the truck off the hillside.

I got caught in a nasty rain / hail storm yesterday, made tracks straight downhill, got back to my truck and bailed. Its that time of year.

I got caught on a clay mud hill after a mid day thunderstorm. Couldn’t get out going downhill. Buried up to the axles and belly pan 4 times. Dug the entire underside out 4 times. 8 hours later gave up, slept in the vehicle, asked locals for help getting unstuck. Ooof. Tis the season.
