Notified November that unvaxxed employees (all of my division are remote workers) would be terminated mid-January. All paperwork had to be sent to HR by January 4.

Nothing happened and questions to HR resulted in "on hold, waiting for our legal team to respond" in early January.

I found a new job with better pay and benefits, quit the end of February and told them it was because of the ridiculous termination threat.

I was in the same boat and timeline. Employees of the company could get a religious exemption but not the contract workers so I'm still working from home when the rest of the team is back in the lab. If I could stay and continue working from home I would have time to work on a few side hustles that bring me joy but if not, I'm switching to a trade.

Fired

[–] 8 pts

That sucks, but at least you stuck up for your beliefs

[–] 7 pts

Yes. Thank you

[–] 3 pts

How'd they broach the topic?

[–] 1 pt

More than just a strongly held belief, t is actual bodily autonomy. The Emergency Use Authorization did not stop them from being experimental drugs. You cannot be forced to participate in medical experiments. When I was asked by my employer, I simply stated I do not participate in medical experiments. That was it.

[–] 1 pt

tell em theyre cuckolds

[–] 4 pts

They are also complete assholes

[–] 0 pt

Are you doing OK?

[–] 2 pts

Ok? Hmmm the father of my children killed himself. I got fired. My daughter had brain cancer

[–] 3 pts

well at least you're not vaxxed

[–] 0 pt

Hope you are suing. Mandate was unconstitutional and vax is experimental. The hospitals will try to quietly settle with those that sue.

[–] [deleted] 15 pts

None. My company gave zero shits about the scamdemic, and neither did I. No talk of forced vaxx, very little talk about masks, no virtue signalling, no enforcement.

In general, I work for a based company.

[–] 6 pts

Nice

Btw, I never did forget about doing a writeup on DMT entities for you. I've just been very busy and well thought out mini-essays haven't been included into my shitpost regimen.

I'll get around to writing it up and PMing it you sooner or later.

[–] 3 pts

Don't worry about it too much, but I definitely would love a follow-up on that one.

My boss is the biggest covid freak I met so far.

Everyone in my workplace rushed to get the vax as soon as possible and I was the only one who didn't get it, and I never talked about it.

My boss confronted me and asked if I got it. I told him no, and the reason is that I have an autoimmune disorder and was advised by my doctor not to get the vax (ALL LIES!).

He fell for it and even felt sorry for me not being able to get it and no one ever mentioned it again.

[–] 7 pts

Damn, I feel bad for that faggot employee of mine with AIDS

[–] 8 pts

I definitely don't look like someone with GAYDS, but if you told me this sooner I would have gone for it since obviously he is mega woke as well.

"WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME IF I GOT PENETRADED YOU HOMOPHOBE, IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! JUST YOU WAIT TILL MY HUSBAND HEARS ABOUT THIS! Also I have aids."

Then walk out and take 6 months paid mental health leave.

[–] 5 pts

I don't think me getting my unprotected butthole blasted is appropriate workplace conversation, but if you want to continue the conversation...

I worked in the DoD as a contractor. We were told unvaccinated employees were not allowed to enter the building for a while. Then it was unvaccinated could enter but only if tested within 14 days.

Nobody ever said shit. When the masks came off I stood proud in the office knowing I worked there the whole time without them ever being able to get me on any of that shit and ALL of my coworkers had folded.

Then I quit for a remote job outside the DoD, and it's way better.

Edit: I've never once taken a COVID test either.

Self employed so I just lost restaurant access and I'll never take my custom to them ever again.

I wanted to travel across to the south island for business and pleasure but was denied by all.

I was first offered a job at a power Co then offer retracted as all new staff had to be jabbed. But unlikely I was going to give up freedom being self employed.

My wife lost a dental nurse job. Then as laws tightened a dental receptionist job then as a retail clerk she was going to lose that job too but the company still hasn't followed through.

So while I was tested and passed I am aware others were tested more vigorously. Those are the ones that piss me off. Friends and family who knew better. Knew the risks but got shot anyway because of the pressure.

On a positive note I had a mate bowing to the pressure who I'm think I was able to convince to hang tough for a little longer and now is vehemently hate filled for the vaccine mandates.

Rip to those I knew who got vaccine injured. You were warned

[–] 8 pts

I got so many things to say in response to this post, but the restaurant shit is important.

One of my favorite bar's denied me service before there was a vax mandate in Philly. They recently rescinded the policy, and one of the bartenders asked a friend if I would ever be coming back. That's a massive no on my end.

[–] 1 pt

There were two businesses in town that tried to force the mask mandate, they both went under.

[–] 1 pt

Stand firm Save the money Invest in cooking skills I suspect more restaurants will go out of business

[–] 5 pts

You stood up to the system. Good! Thanks for the comment.

Hey fellow kiwi

I'll never take my custom to them ever again.

You know, it is only myself and other kiwis from whom I have heard that response: NEVER to any once-vaxx-apartheid institution, ever

I almost gave into it as a bribe. I was offered something by my employer that I had been demanding for a while. Then in December, I get called into the office, and here's basically how it went:

"Hey BloodyComet, how are you doing? Things are going great for you around here, glad to have you around in the busy season! Anyway, remember that thing we talked about, that you wanted? Well, I talked with upper management, and the only thing holding them back from giving you that thing is: they are concerned that January 8th will arrive, and you will be unable to come into work without getting your vaccine."

This almost got me. I REALLY considered it. I tried to research "which of these shots is killing/ruining the fewest lives". I went home from work that day, and spoke to a friend about it. By then, I had gotten over the initial shock of a bribery/coercion attempt by my fucking employer, and I had snapped out of it. My friend still gave me hell for even considering it.

But here's the thing- I had been so fucking stressed out about that damned shot for MONTHS leading up to that. It's on your mind constantly- am I going to be able to work? Or is the federal government going to reach into my life EVEN MORE and fuck me again!? It wears you down over time. And now... I am the only person at my place of employment WHO HAS NOT BEEN SHOT. I get shit for dodging it, too. Oh, and I'm the only one out of my entire time who didn't have to take 3-7 days off for covid.

And I'll never stop reminding them. All they had to do was stand their ground, like I did. But they caved in like little bitches because they were afraid. I was afraid, too. I can admit this. However, I did not let that fear motivate me into making a terrible decision- my reason prevailed over my fear. I am proud of this.

Courage is being fearful and still standing your ground anyway. Do you think the most fearsome of warriors in the past were completely without fear? They weren't - but they did what needed to be done, and used their fear to work for them, rather than letting their fear consume them. Be proud.

I knew that a jab was gonna be a thing from probably about April 2020. It's why I started preparing more then, because in my industry I had a nasty feeling they'd make the jab mandatory and I needed a plan in the off chance that they did. It's why I could basically tell them to fuck off when they did pull their shit. I know of several people who live week to week who would have been completely fucked if they got fired, and they caved and got the jab. I don't judge those people negatively (I still think though that their decision was stupid, but I understand why they did it), but the ones who are spruiking the jab or being concernfags about it I rip them a new one and judge them with utter contempt.

I appreciate the compliment. It was very difficult. But I know how valuable I am- I knew that if I was suddenly terminated over not having the clot shot, it would be like slitting the throat of my division. Would've been absolute hell for my team- I'm in a sort of "lynchpin" role, where everything ultimately depends on me doing my thing.

If I'm not there, nobody is doing my thing, and my thing is the thing that makes us money and all that good stuff. Someone might try to remotely work with one of my team members and stumble them through the process, but it would be ridiculously difficult and time-consuming. I knew this. This was comforting- "They need me. I'm never sick. There's no reason to think I'd get covid. Everyone else has gotten it, and I've been around them while they had it, and I'm fine."

I applied for an exemption. Never got any kind of response back. I remember writing something like "It is very distressing to have to provide a reason to not take an experimental drug to my employer, as normally medical privacy is heavily respected and protected under law. Having to justify my personal health decision to an employer is, frankly, disgusting." Boy did that feel good...

Precisely the same as myself. That's what I had no qualms whatsoever with diplomatically telling them to fuck off, knowing full well that they need me a lot more than I need them. I think that's part of the reason that the second they found a loophole to get out of this nonsense, they took it.

[–] 7 pts (edited )

They threatened that I would no longer be able to work if I didn't get the first jab by the deadline (which was in October last year). I responded with "I'll be having a chat with my family doctor about any health decisions that I make, not you." My doctor doesn't subscribe to all of the corona garbage, for the record. Said he'd write me an exemption if push came to shove and they were going to follow through with me being fired. That being said, I had no qualms whatsoever about losing my job, given that I had prepared for a shit hits the fan scenario for years beforehand. Deadline passed, I didn't get the jab, didn't lose my job. A week after the deadline they decided it was no longer mandatory - to their credit it's because the business found a loophole in the rules set by the government (even though I think they're pussies for caving in the first place). By then, most had been jabbed, 3 (including me) didn't cave. Fast forward to today - I am the only person at my work who hasn't had corona yet. All the other fuckers have had a week off work because they have. I've also gotten a raise at work since, because I think they realise that they'd be in deep shit if I left.

At least you didn't have decades shaved off your life.

[–] 0 pt

I wouldn't anyway, because I'm not a fat fuck or unhealthy.

[–] 1 pt

You think the vaxx doesn't impact healthy people as well? It's poison to everyone.

[–] 6 pts

Claimed everyone must be injected no exceptions or enrollment is compromised. I have yet to adhere to it, they backpedaled and demanded weekly testing. I rejected it again. They pushed once again demanding testing or else. I took the test, since it was not supervised, I "improvised" and sent that in. I have done it only once despite their demand I do it weekly.

[–] 5 pts

Nothing yet, I just ignored the HR dept requests for proof of vax upload, there were several emails. Haven't heard about that since the last email from the beginning of the year so far. We'll see if vax becomes important again as we near the midterm elections.

[–] 4 pts

The only reason most have dropped to go after the vax, is that now they have jewkraine on their minds.
