Celestial bodies are not of terrestrial concern.

I guess you don't get up early is what you're saying.

No, I'm saying the sky is full of faggotry.

A whole bunch of celestial "bodies" revolving around each other in some sort of abstract dance. Attracted to each other through some unseen force called "Gravity", where they slowly get closer and closer to each other, until they inevitably touch in the darkness of the Gay Club that is Space...

Just seems kinda homo when you think about it...

Is it because I used the word binary?

yep, that's gay - brokeback galaxy.

the 'pillars of life' are actually phallic representations of space dust poised to pound the proverbial celestial fartbox into oblivion.

the cosmic gape of homospacism.

Has this been visible for the past few days?

That's what I was seeing on the way to work, then. The two planets with the waning moon made for a beautiful sight.

Cool. What's even cooler is that this won't happen again till almost 2040. I'll be an old bastard then. It's like the first time Halley's comet came around I believe I was either 8 or 12. the next time it would come around I would be 83.

I don't think so. Not in the side by side position. Sunday morning they should be offset again.

Right as the moon went to a sliver, there was two bright points that made a perfect triangle. I assume one was Venus but I wasn't sure what the other one was.

Boy that would have been cool to see. yesterday was a waning gibbus. I thought the moon was tracking ahead of the Sun for the last couple of days. I think today is the new moon and these are both morning observations. But something might have made a Delta up there. This is one of the more interesting times in celestial observations with all the planets aligning with the Moon. last week it was five celestial moving bodies that were in a row which is like the first time that's happened in a bunch of years. I missed the exact day that it happened but I saw it the day after so it wasn't perfect but pretty close.

Not sure. I noticed it yesterday morning when I was outside my camper. The planetary alignments have been for the past couple of weeks.

>Not sure I noticed

lol you sound like a reddit fag

I'm glad you pointed that out. That's talk to text and me forgetting to put punctuation. "not sure." Is what I meant. Has been corrected.

I live in Washington State... we never see anything but clouds in the sky.

I'm currently in Utah's western desert. And all I see is obnoxious Mormons, a lot of dust and the night sky.

Mormons are why Mitens Romney is a senator... the church should be labeled a terrorists organization.

I usually get along with Mormons. But this time in Utah something's off and they're really territorial now. And giving me a lot of grief in their 'locals' areas. Last I checked this is America and people can go where they want.

Just saw them from Cape Cod as the sun was rising. They were the only two things visible in the sky.

Were they right next to each other?

[–] 1 pt

The brighter one which I assume was Venus was a little lower and to the left of the dimmer one. They were very close together.

Did it happen before 11:00 AM Central?
