Just looking for suggestions or alternatives to having money in the bank, besides dogecoin, Ethereum, etc..., nor looking to cash-in-mattress either. I wouldn't mind converting to precious metals, but I can't exactly pay the mechanic in gold shavings, so not very practical. Lastly, INB4 "go google niggerfaggotkike" ... I don't trust the Alex Jones advertisement-like sites out there.

There really isn't a bank that's not compromised in some way, credit unions included. If you need to use one, just pick one that has convenience for you and stick with it. Actively manage what's in the accounts, and don't keep any more than you need to in the accounts.

Credit cards are all similar, but treat your card like a charge card (that is, it's a 30-day loan) and you're better off.
