It's about 50/50 here. I just go in without wearing a mask, but if the receptionists are all wearing one and there's a sign, I just put a cheap one on. I don't care enough to argue about wearing one for the 30 minutes I'll be there.
If you really don't want to wear one, try calling the offices, explaining that you have a religious objection, they give you anxiety, or whatever. Then politely ask of you could come in first thing in the morning or at the end of the day as a compromise.
Legally, the doctor is on shaky ground if they deny you medical care because you have a religious objection to masks. Most won't care about that, but some are reasonable about it.
I've been doing that without success. I always get some female receptionist that I can tell is subtly horrified by my request as their voice becomes less pleasant.
That's unfortunate to hear.
explaining that you have a religious objection
And in a single sentence, you outed yourself as braindead or an informant.
anyone, and I do mean anyone, who was genuine, would have been paying attention and known this DOESNT FUCKING WORK.
Which tells me you are
fucking stupid
an informant
willfully ignorant, and both of the above.
If its number 2 or 3, you're also number one, fucking stupid, to believe we'd fall for this "jus tell dem ya religious exemptions!" horseshit, as if we dont see through the people pushing it, when the state has ready made denials (which you are aware of), which they readily and successfully used millions of times (which you are aware of), and for which they will do it again, at the drop of a hat (which you are also fully aware of).
So, are you fucking stupid, willfully ignorant, or a malicious informant? Pick at least one. Theres no wrong answer here.
