Are medical facilities in your area enforcing mask usage while in office? I've been trying to find an Ophthalmologist that doesn't give a shit about enforcing masks but haven't been able to. Not sure if this is a product of being in Commiefornia or if the problem is widespread across other states. Any tips on how to find such doctors? I really fucking hate these people but I have eye anomalies that I need checked out.

AZ here. Some do some dont. My doc doesnt make me wear a mask even though they do have a sign saying to wear one.

Just go maskless if they ask you to leave find another one.

Just go maskless if they ask you to leave find another one.

I did that with my last ophthalmologist.

It's commiefornia

I’m in the Central Valley. Had ophthalmologist appointment in January of 21. Never asked, just went in maskless. Every employee and every other patient there was masked. No one said shit to me. Try that. If you get hassled, laugh, shake your head, and walk out.

It's about 50/50 here. I just go in without wearing a mask, but if the receptionists are all wearing one and there's a sign, I just put a cheap one on. I don't care enough to argue about wearing one for the 30 minutes I'll be there.

If you really don't want to wear one, try calling the offices, explaining that you have a religious objection, they give you anxiety, or whatever. Then politely ask of you could come in first thing in the morning or at the end of the day as a compromise.

Legally, the doctor is on shaky ground if they deny you medical care because you have a religious objection to masks. Most won't care about that, but some are reasonable about it.

I've been doing that without success. I always get some female receptionist that I can tell is subtly horrified by my request as their voice becomes less pleasant.

explaining that you have a religious objection

And in a single sentence, you outed yourself as braindead or an informant.

anyone, and I do mean anyone, who was genuine, would have been paying attention and known this DOESNT FUCKING WORK.

Which tells me you are

  1. fucking stupid

  2. an informant

  3. willfully ignorant, and both of the above.

If its number 2 or 3, you're also number one, fucking stupid, to believe we'd fall for this "jus tell dem ya religious exemptions!" horseshit, as if we dont see through the people pushing it, when the state has ready made denials (which you are aware of), which they readily and successfully used millions of times (which you are aware of), and for which they will do it again, at the drop of a hat (which you are also fully aware of).

So, are you fucking stupid, willfully ignorant, or a malicious informant? Pick at least one. Theres no wrong answer here.

In nm, yes. Hospitals and nursing homes

No idea here in Ohio, I haven't been to a medical facility of any sort since March 2020.

I'd suggest just asking if any special considerations are required, like masks. If they say yes, politely thank then for their time and hang up.

Only two: 1) hospital. Which makes sense as they were executing people with Fauci Death Protoco!l and 2) respiratory supply. Which is now blackballed as if they are that ignorant they cannot be trusted as specialists.

The People's Democratic Republic of Massachusetts is still doing the masks at medical facilities , doctors offices , etc. Shocking , I know.

Pennsylvania, yes. Even for blood work in labs, ridiculous. They won't let me wear my homemade mini-mask which allows fresh air, require one of the cheapo paper plastic things that suffocate you.
