Talk to a tax expert accountant. Not some retail accountant who just finishes the books. You need an accountant who knows the actual law, and knows the tax people on a first name basis.
The situation is probably not what you think it is. You are not a tax expert. The tax people get it wrong all the time too. Government workers are especially incompetent, and lazy as hell. They are not hired for their intelligence. Now they are also millennials who can not actually count or comprehend the written language, never mind the law as written. They are certainly not lawyers. They just follow internal dictated department policy, and more often than not, do even that incorrectly. Everyone defers to the experts.
Also, you can probably go through a debt reorganization and get the tax people to accept 10%, and write off the rest. Some money recovered is better than no money at all, but the plan has to come through a debt recovery outfit, and not through you directly. The government will just assume you are lying anyways. They'll want third party verification of the financials.
Again, talk to a tax expert. They know all about it.
Thank you. But that is why I am desperately asking internet strangers. I did talk to a tax expert. They advised me to "just pay it". But... with what money? Why should I even pay 10% though? That is just so unfair.
Just move to another country with a new ID and start again.
People do it all the time.
I hear Sweden is very nice to Muslim immigrants - Allah Akbar.
Free housing, salary, medical, education, and day care.
lol Well, if I had money to travel elsewhere, I would! Good idea though.
