Um boss tones were a well known and successful band before their billboard hit Impression That I Get.

However that was at the height of the ska revival in pop music. They continued to make music and tour consistently while the fickle pop tastes moved on.

Calling them a one hot wonder is like calling GWAR a failed band nobody listened to.

They should have knocked on wood.

They were just too mighty.

I wonder about Madness too. Some Ska shit was fun , in the right circumstances.

the singer wouldn't take the clotshots so the rest of the band dropped him

"While no one is willing or authorized to talk on the record, two people friendly with the band say the vaccination status of Bosstones singer Dicky Barrett has something, or perhaps everything, to do with the band’s abrupt demise. "

"soon after it was revealed that Barrett produced a song used in a video promoting an anti-vaccination rally in Washington on Jan. 23. "

The whole ska thing was just a stupid, thankfully short lived fad.

They had a "hit"? Where? By whom? Must have been determined by polls collected from the Home for the Deaf, Dumb, & Stupid in Walla Walla, Washington, which later relocated to D.C.

Was there one that DIDN'T sound like total shit, that I don't know about?
