if any of you do can you tell me what the gas prices are? I'm looking to drive the Dempster Highway this summer and I was just talking to a fella that lives in Alaska and he was saying that potentially I could be looking at $20 a US gallon gasoline going up there. is that true or was he just telling me a yarn?

Gas in Death Valley, CA was $8-$9 a gallon in late march. Being in an extremely more remote location, I could see it being at well above $10.
