There is a general store with a phone number, I would call and ask them, or get a phone number of the airport and ask someone there. Most places don't have a phone number on google maps. Zoom in on the highway area and use the gasoline tab. https://www.arcticpetroleumservices.ca/ maybe call these guys and ask questions, they fuel up the stations in that area I think. Also lots of spare tires and the ability to patch your tires and re-inflate them, tire plugs work great in my experience but people say you can't drive on them which is wrong. It's probably all gravel road and you WILL get flats from sharp rocks even with new tires. Plan on breaking down with something serious like an axle, starter, etc. Food, shelter, oh and good luck with bears and no guns allowed. Hope youre vax maxed because Canada is assho homo. You can google street view the whole thing, google is awesome that way. So if the google homo cam car can make it, you can too.
Yeah I think I'll give those phone numbers a jingling, good idea. That's the plan yes I want to go to the end of the road. Useless I understand but I went to the end of the road in Alaska and that was pretty cool. So I'd imagine it's probably just as cool in Canada. Plus I'm honestly tired of the heat in the summer in the US so I want to go somewhere where it's constantly overcast and drizzly all day. Not saying this part of Canada is like that but every picture that I've seen recently has been overcast and cloudy. Thank you for your concerns about dying up there. You drove the Dalton so you know what you're in for. Dempster looks like a better road than the Dalton which isn't surprising, CAN has better roads IMO. It sounds like a great adventure.
Yeah thanks, I hope it's going to be awesome. you know to be honest I don't care if I don't even get past Calgary I just don't want to be in the lower 48 this summer. I'm so over it. it's just so hot and miserable and just completely on fire. Granted I know western Canada gets burned to hell too but if I can get myself into the national parks I'll do that. I got a couple of nice camping spots that I'll keep my fingers crossed are still there. I'd be all about that all summer. I met some wonderful people out there from all over the world, which was a trip. Thought loon was a wolf, I got my balls busted horribly about that one and soaked in a couple of hot springs that were just first class primitive Hot Springs. And the women stock from Canada blow the US babes away tenfold. But anyway, I survived the Dalton by just going slow, by pulling over when the trucks came flying down at 80 mph. Pulling over and taking breaks. That's what I'm going to do this time. But my offer still stands, I'll clean the dishes and take out the trash, it's more than most will do, lol 🙌😁.
