I agree but I doubt you want the current lawyers to do this. It would probably be better to just endure a generation or two of barbarism until the hardship breeds a new crop of thinkers that will frame a legal architecture influenced by the humbling gravity of the recent tribulations.
Anarchy will not exist for multiple generations. Power vacuums are temporary, and under the modern precepts of European society, there WILL be a state of some kind. Killing off ALL the lawyers would return us to some kind of absolute monarchy which will bring us back to square one. Some lawyers can be salvaged, provided they choose the right side.
Perhaps barbarism wasn't the right choice of words on my part.
I think you give lawyers to much credit. One does not need to be a professional lawyer to design good laws.
