I thought this was something I did as a hobby. "Wow, if they just hired competent people, any decent english writer could probably correctly interpret the AZNs broken english into something cogent."
Any time I've ever seen a broken english translation in any sort of manual, I've written that company off. Heard other people say the same. "If they cant bother to write a manual thats not chinglesh, how good is their product going to be? How reliable will their warranty or tech support be?"
It may not seem like it, but I think this is probably an area where a couple brands and manufacturers, even in the low-tiers, could pull ahead of competition in a significant way.
Also, if I were running a consumer products company I legit would pay for college students or highschool graduates to immigrate to low-cost countries. I get 1. english speakers who are competent at the language 2. lots of them, because "muh TRAVEL!" is attractive to a lot of people 3. cheaply, because of cost of living 4. people can live good, even on a reduced american salary, because that translates to a decent wage in a low-income or developing nation 5. the company gets first pick on good candidates vs competitors, because lots of 20-somethings that may have talent, but little experience, would be quick to sign up for what amounts to free travel. 6. free publicity because so few other companies do anything like that.
Import english speaking westerners into low-income foreign companies. Get bonuses for referals to hostels/apartments/other services. Reverse-offshoring, call it "exported labor arbitrage"
Do it for online learning and fuck over the teachers unions in the process. Not even for the money, but for the lulz.

Ask if they would consider hiring you on a “as needed” basis for manual labor, labor cheap pay scenarios. Show an interest in the trade and your interest may drive you towards a mentorship. i don’t know how old you are. I did something like this as a kid, a few times and got to experience several fields and learned a ton of different useful things.
