If you eat one and it makes you sick, this is bad biscuit. If you don't get sick it's a good biscuit. The more you know. but nonsense aside yeah I have no idea.

That's literally it. Go to take a bite out of biscuit and if its soggy its no good, spit it out. If you pick up the cookie and it crumbles its no good, throw it out. Some cookies can last years though.

It massively depends on how you make them.

But, generally, they have a shelf life of 6 months... maybe can stretch to 9 months in a rough situation. If you make it right, maybe a year. The sugars break down first... so they worse they taste, the longer they last.

In the freezer, they'll last years.

They are great trail food, as a little goes a long way, and they're heavy on the stomach. Homemade pemmican and Anzac cookies are great carry with you food that is dense enough and light enough to carry weeks of food in a bear proof container.

Well, I found that they were kept for at least months. But found no specifics. Maybe two?

Hahahaha growing up we all had grandparents that had jars of biscuits that they would never get rid of even if they aged a few years. You wont find a solid answer on this because we still at the biscuits anyway.

Why would you want to store biscuits? You can make biscuits with flour and water, and a little grease. Then they are fresh and hot. They steam when you break them open to put butter on them.
