I tried to call a relative of mine many times, who later told me he screens calls by letting it go to an answering machine. Only it never did.
So I wrote to him via snail mail. When he finally called me, my phone hung up after only one ring. When I returned his call, I reached a "Funeral Scheduling" service.
Also, several text messages I sent and received while on a road trip were not received until three days later.
Have things like this happened to anyone else? What might explain it?
