Ive been using the same cheap ikea brush for years. I toss it in the dishwasher to clean it. Same with sponges. Granted i mostly use my dishwasher.

The only time my sponges really fall apart is when they get demoted to bathroom duty and im using barkeepers friend to clean the tub. What cleaner are you using with the sponges?

I learned about brushes a few years ago and it changed my dishwashing. Super pre-treatment for crap on things. Quick, easy to clean.

I use one sponge for maybe 6 months until it falls apart, use it to clean all dishes (I don't use a dishwasher machine). Never stinks because I squeeze it out after each use and set it to dry.

Dish soap only.

Are you letting the food dry out and really harden on the stuff and have to scub real hard? A quick rinse while its fresh makes a big diff or letting it soak.

Sometimes, but try not to let that happen.

I use Dawn dish soap to clean my shower. It’s super cheap and much more effective than ‘bathroom cleaners’.
