After being fired from my job on October from not getting the vaccine, I've been having a bad case of apathy. My credit cards have gone into default and car insurance expired. the rent for my dump of a one bedroom apartment has gone up by $200.

I have given up drinking and pot a whole lot too, and kept myself in decent shape, but I have no drive.

So I decided to move back into my aging parents house where I grew up in. They seem more then happy to let me raise some chickens and start a garden. It was a hard choice to make since I liked living alone and that I'm also addicted to the Internet. But wanting to get over the internet addiction is a large part my motivation.references. I do get along with the parents and we politically align. I never told them about holohoax things though.

I'm saving up some hard drives full of all the documentaries and art.

I'm also going to have to find out how to start with the chickens. There's not even a coop so I'll have to start figuring that out...

Does anyone have any tips, suggestions or resources for cutting Internet addiction to focus on goals, improve focus and creative evergy? Or just about raising chickens in Alaska.

Now onto crops. Chickens aren't great. Their value is really low. Just a couple of brown shavers gives more eggs than you'll need but chances are it will cost you a lot in feed. Meat birds are not worth the effort compared to store bought.

So instead allow me to recommend lambs. Cheap to buy. Cheap to raise. Easy to raise. Just grow grass. Six month old. 22lr to head Easy to self slaughter Moderate effort to butcher. Total cost is literally single digit fraction of store prices.

And unlike plants. Lamb meat is a super food

Thank you, I do like the idea of lambs and I'll do some more research into that. I had been thinking of chickens since I have fond memories with them from childhood.

Chickens are cool. I've had many. My favorites are silkies. Just economically questionable. And why I like silkies. They are basically pets.

Also forgot to mention that lambs really look after paddocks. You can use them as living lawnmowers and still have a good looking front yard.

I hand reared my first years ram and ewes and now every year they give me free lambs and free lamb feed
