After being fired from my job on October from not getting the vaccine, I've been having a bad case of apathy. My credit cards have gone into default and car insurance expired. the rent for my dump of a one bedroom apartment has gone up by $200.

I have given up drinking and pot a whole lot too, and kept myself in decent shape, but I have no drive.

So I decided to move back into my aging parents house where I grew up in. They seem more then happy to let me raise some chickens and start a garden. It was a hard choice to make since I liked living alone and that I'm also addicted to the Internet. But wanting to get over the internet addiction is a large part my motivation.references. I do get along with the parents and we politically align. I never told them about holohoax things though.

I'm saving up some hard drives full of all the documentaries and art.

I'm also going to have to find out how to start with the chickens. There's not even a coop so I'll have to start figuring that out...

Does anyone have any tips, suggestions or resources for cutting Internet addiction to focus on goals, improve focus and creative evergy? Or just about raising chickens in Alaska.

Maybe you could try this idea with some adaptations for your situation.

I forget which video it was, but I watched a video from someone explaining how he lived with no internet for years. The way he did it was that if there was anything on the internet that he really seriously needed to do, he went to an internet cafe to do it. He would also download videos he wanted to watch, podcasts, and ebooks onto his hard drive while he was there. He set up all the sites he really cared about on an RSS app so that when he went to the cafe, he could update the RSS reader and then read the articles offline at home.

Guessing your parents have internet at home though so maybe to simulate it you would have to remove the wifi card from your laptop if it's internal and then hide a USB wifi card somewhere near the cafe.

Yeah my mom does have internet but it's pretty garbage as she's in a forest in the mountains far from any cafes. Still I'm going to work with her to limit it.
