After being fired from my job on October from not getting the vaccine, I've been having a bad case of apathy. My credit cards have gone into default and car insurance expired. the rent for my dump of a one bedroom apartment has gone up by $200.

I have given up drinking and pot a whole lot too, and kept myself in decent shape, but I have no drive.

So I decided to move back into my aging parents house where I grew up in. They seem more then happy to let me raise some chickens and start a garden. It was a hard choice to make since I liked living alone and that I'm also addicted to the Internet. But wanting to get over the internet addiction is a large part my motivation.references. I do get along with the parents and we politically align. I never told them about holohoax things though.

I'm saving up some hard drives full of all the documentaries and art.

I'm also going to have to find out how to start with the chickens. There's not even a coop so I'll have to start figuring that out...

Does anyone have any tips, suggestions or resources for cutting Internet addiction to focus on goals, improve focus and creative evergy? Or just about raising chickens in Alaska.

Something that helped me. I called it "the 3things". I would always plan out 3 things to accomplish every day. Once I get my 3 things done, then do whatever I want. Load of laundry? That's a thing. Do my taxes? That's a thing. Change my oil? That's a thing. It quickly gets to a point where you're looking for shit to do just to have three. You become productive. It's a good way to manifest discipline even though you're a lazy selfish peice of shit. I'm so in the habit of taking care of my shit that I've grown out of it, but I highly recommend the 3 Things approach if you're undermotivated.

Thank you. I like this and I think I've unwittingly applied the rule of three to other things in my life.

Does making a 3 Things List count as one and completing count as three?

Prayer. Learn to communicate with God through your little inner voice.

Now onto crops. Chickens aren't great. Their value is really low. Just a couple of brown shavers gives more eggs than you'll need but chances are it will cost you a lot in feed. Meat birds are not worth the effort compared to store bought.

So instead allow me to recommend lambs. Cheap to buy. Cheap to raise. Easy to raise. Just grow grass. Six month old. 22lr to head Easy to self slaughter Moderate effort to butcher. Total cost is literally single digit fraction of store prices.

And unlike plants. Lamb meat is a super food

Thank you, I do like the idea of lambs and I'll do some more research into that. I had been thinking of chickens since I have fond memories with them from childhood.

Chickens are cool. I've had many. My favorites are silkies. Just economically questionable. And why I like silkies. They are basically pets.

Also forgot to mention that lambs really look after paddocks. You can use them as living lawnmowers and still have a good looking front yard.

I hand reared my first years ram and ewes and now every year they give me free lambs and free lamb feed

I'm familiar with chickens, but not lambs. By lambs do you mean the lambs with wool or as in goats?

just be vegan and don't be a jew and kill animals

[–] 1 pt

vegans are weak soy boys

Satanic pedophiles turned you vegan because meat is a super food while plant diets cause obesity and diabetes.

You worship synagogue of Satan's alter

It's not like alcohol. Go cold turkey with all media.

Set the goal and follow it through.

It'll seem left-handed for a few days, but just keep telling yourself the break will make you the person you want to be. When you start to falter, slap yourself and read a book or shoot a target or work on the fencing.

In a week-10 days tops you'll have the urge under control, and you'll be doing all those things you always thought about doing but never did.

And if you spend a month off tv, the next time you view it, you'll be shocked at all the nlp you never noticed before.

You know I can sort of understand what you mean. I did a 7 day water fast and the same could be applied to that. At first, ravenousness, then content. By the end breaking the fast was as difficult as starting it.

We all have the strength inside to do stuff like this, we just have to apply it.

If there are rough spots, hang tough and ride 'em out. Conquer that shit.

Whether you tell yourself you can or you tell yourself you can't, you're right.

I fast at the first hint of illness.

I had to go "off food" for a couple of weeks due to a stomach surgery, and dealing with the very, very real withdrawal symptoms I got was easily on par with when I quit smoking. But, just like with smoking, it did pass, and I felt surprisingly good for the rest of the time I wasn't able to eat. I even had a difficult time bothering to eat everyday for a good while after I had recovered. I only got back into more "normal" eating habits to keep my protein levels up without those shakes.

Try a very low carb diet or even better, go carnivore

Best decision my partner and I made a few years ago; Steak, salt and eggs. Being shredded is cool but the mental & energy benefits are where it’s at

Paleo diet saved my life. Literally. Really any diet that dumps the carbs. Shit is literally the most addictive poison we put in ourselves.

Maybe you could try this idea with some adaptations for your situation.

I forget which video it was, but I watched a video from someone explaining how he lived with no internet for years. The way he did it was that if there was anything on the internet that he really seriously needed to do, he went to an internet cafe to do it. He would also download videos he wanted to watch, podcasts, and ebooks onto his hard drive while he was there. He set up all the sites he really cared about on an RSS app so that when he went to the cafe, he could update the RSS reader and then read the articles offline at home.

Guessing your parents have internet at home though so maybe to simulate it you would have to remove the wifi card from your laptop if it's internal and then hide a USB wifi card somewhere near the cafe.

Yeah my mom does have internet but it's pretty garbage as she's in a forest in the mountains far from any cafes. Still I'm going to work with her to limit it.

i raise chickens. i am a national socialist.

a simple coop is easy to build with anything you can find. look around for local chicks and start reading all you can. i eat lots of produce so in turn my chickens eat well.

also, if you can free range them, that is best. they will keep the insects down for you.

raising animals and working with nature will make you happy.

feed your parents fresh eggs and red pills.

I have a screen time on my phone that was showing ridiculous hours of how much time I spent on apps which includes the browser. Helped me put my phone down more.

Seeing your screen time live may help, I'm sure there is an app or extension for whatever browser you're using.

Its something you gotta want to do yourself. Trust me man if you think trying to tame a rare raptor in fucking wow or whack off to some poor girl that didnt have a good daddy growing up is worth the time you coulda spent bettering your livelyhood, your family or investing in your lifestyle That gotta be you, think about it

My neighbor had chickens and my siblings and I helped to raise them. He'd let us take hatching birds and watch over them for the summer until the birds wandered back to his coop. I really like chickens a lot, they're a lot more complex than people give them credit for, and they're one of my favorite animals along with deer and dogs.

I needed money fast when my life was turned upside down. I used a site called UpWork and started interviewing for data entry/assistant jobs.

From there I branched out and ended up as an assistant for SEO/SEM fields. After picking up enough knowledge I took jobs for SEM services and got good enough that I'm starting my own company soon.

Losing your job sucks, but there are plenty of ways to head on out and hustle in the world even if you're staying right at home to raise chickens.

Just keep your productivity up and focus hard on working towards a better future.

I can't relate, sorry. I easily lose hours of internet time to watching plants grow.
