The failure is assuming America was a new land in the first place. It wasn't. Copper trade from Michigan goes back millennia. The Romans knew about America, so did the Carthaginians and the Greeks. The Scythians and Vikings ancestors had colonies there. Atlantis probably did too. This is not a new continent we first stumbled upon like retards a few centuries back, it was a rediscovery.
OK. Valid point. But do you see any group willing and able to establish a "new" country with the constitutional freedoms the US had at its outset?
