If a caveman hunts Mammoth, he will dream of a Mammoth killing him. I don't think it is a recurring dream if it is based off your worries, hopes, ambitions, or relationships. I was more thinking a recurring dream is the same dream every night. But I guess the people talking about having the same dream every night aint so good using they word to describe thing.
