Déjà vu is a French loanword, which literally translates to:
Nigga, I seen this shit before!
What was the sleep paralysis like? I've had it before...
I'm always in my bed, usually the bed I feel asleep in but some times the bed where I grew up or my old bed in the barracks. I'm also always alone at first and there's a severe sense of dread. Some times someone will come into the room and watch me or slowly moves towards me. I can't scream or move and the dread starts to intensify. Usually I know it's a dream by now but that doesn't help break out of it. So I thrash around and try to scream until I wake myself up. Usually that leaves me pretty panicky and I try not to fall back to sleep right away because I've had it happen to me back to back.
Ingraine this in your head. Wiggle your toes.
That will get you out of sleep paralysis.
