I don't see how Musk loses on twitter. If he buys it at his price, bringing back free speech will boost the number of users and push up the company's stock price. On the other hand, it Musk is given the cold shoulder, he can simply sell the shares he bought at a profit and pocket the difference. HIs purchase of stock increased share prices significantly. Of course if Musk sells his twitter shares it will tank share prices, but that isn't really Musk's problem at that point, is it?
