The problem with power metal groups is they're very inconsistent. I can recommend albums more so than bands

Blind Guardian - Nightfall in Middle Earth, Imaginations from the Other Side Stratovarius - Polaris Wintersun - self-titled Nightwish - Oceanborn, Once (skip track 5) Iced Earth - Burnt Offerings Dark Moor - Gates of Oblivion Children of Bodom - Follow the Reaper Seventh Wonder - Mercy Falls King Diamond - Them (not tr00 power metal but w/e) Epica - Divine Conspiracy

I'm a little surprised to see Epica, but not Kamelot.

I don't really like either band, but that Epica album has some strong songs that I'd never leave off a power metal playlist. I've tried to like Kamelot but just never happened.
