The problem with power metal groups is they're very inconsistent. I can recommend albums more so than bands

I don't really like either band, but that Epica album has some strong songs that I'd never leave off a power metal playlist. I've tried to like Kamelot but just never happened.

Musically speaking they aren't the worst, but they are complete cucks ideologically speaking, they've completely fallen for the holohoax

So personally, while their production isn't bad musically speaking, I just can't stand listening to it, they're bordering on SJW cuckery it's pathetic, pretty much like ramstein btw

Problem is that the "ethnat" musical scene is mostly made of punk metal vomit made by talentless low IQ butchers , that's unfortunate but that's what it is

Nearly everything they play sounds the same. Their one good song is 40:1, and it's basically a bullshit story so I can't enjoy it.

Claim: 700 Polish troops stood up against a German division for 3 days; Polish Thermopylae.

Reality: Those troops were in a fortified line in a swamp, they engaged with a few combat probes after which the Germans waited to bring engineers up. Once engineers took out their main bunker, they died en masse. 650+ Polish casualties to ~50 Germans, they never engaged with remotely that many troops, and Warsaw got sacked a few days later.

Just listen to Manowar, Tyr, or Visigoth. Way better, and it's fantasy or mythology so nothing to get autistic about.

I don’t really know their politics, but back when I was really into power metal, I listed to Iced Earth, Blind Guardian, Symphony X, Stratovarius, some Manowar, Demons and Wizards, Epica (Simone Simons voice is beautiful), Dragonforce. Kalmah is pretty good. Nightwish has a lot of good songs, very popular. I liked Rhapsody of Fire (used to be called Rhapsody) too.

I listen to a lot of power metal at the gym. Gamma ray is by and far my favourite. I love all their albums from the late 90s onwards. Kai is a hell of a vocalist. Land of the free 2 and empire of the undead being my top 2 albums.
