This homo-historical revisionism pisses me off to no end as well. According to these "historians", EVERY individual who had ANY positive impact on history - from Alexander to Abe Lincoln was a peter puffer. And I do mean, everyone. If there were any unconventional living arrangements in a historical figures past, such as when Lincoln briefly shared a log cabin with a fellow lumberjack on the wilderness job site they were currently working, that constitutes beyond a doubt ironclad evidence they were both packing the fudge.
And speaking of Alexander, who perhaps is probably the most likely on their list, it turns out this whole mano e mano mythology swirling around him is based on a modern interpretation of a very short passage by a chronicler of his who said he had a 'special love' for some particular close friend. Too lazy to look it up right now, but it was something like that, and nothing along the lines of rock solid evidence that Alex was in fact light in the loafers. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. We'll never know for sure, so since he was one of the most influential historical figures who ever existed, I'm going with "Not". That's MY interpretation.
Yeah I'm going to assume any claim anyone was gay as false till proven otherwise. Greeks had many terms for love, they had words for brotherly love, friendship love, sexual love, paternal love etc etc. Faggots however only understand sexual 'love' and any mention of anything else is ignored to confirm their bias. If they were gay that's disgusting and I lose some respect but I will accept it. God faggots are annoying.
Exactly spot on.
