Why would they need child consent if they can just decriminalize having sex with children? I think they are going for the latter since they can manufacture child consent through violence/threats of violence, coercion, bribery or outright lying.

That's a good point. I guess maybe its their Plan B then.
Perhaps there isn't some ultimate goal outside of them just being pedophiles needing the rope and our current society is so fucked right now, they're getting a legitimate platform.

I think if they just made it legal, they'd be swinging from trees, lamp posts, overpasses, cranes, unfinished buildings and be fed to various critters...
They have to convince people that children want sex and it is normal, then they can start ignoring the laws.
