I know smoking cigarettes is bad for you, but what about the effects of marijuana? Not that I smoke it myself, but if you are near it, would it have an adverse affect on you? I look at these large cities and I notice this is a great way to poison a large group of people at once, by forcing the non smoking population to be around those who do smoke, but i have very little information on whether or not Marijuana smoke is dangerous

Well sure pot has smoke just like cigarettes that floats around and gets into your lungs. If your lungs are really sensitive to smoke irritation then you'll get irritated. I used to go to a cigar bar years ago and it was one of the only places that were you were still allowed to smoke in my state believe it or not. And as the evening progressed you would see the smoke line extend all the way down to mid body. the air was so bad inside that place.
