Same. When I left the church, I never stopped believing in god. Felt like, even as an outsider, I could identify with them. It was my interest in Judaism (some fascinating stuff, but eventually the dark shit I discovered opened my eyes), plus getting fucked over by Jew friends and bosses, and trying to dig deeper to the reasons of antisemitism lead me to now.
