Gas lawnmower will last you a decade or two if maintained minimally, electric…. Better price replacement batteries, know in a year or two you will need them, and the whole thing will need replaced within 4 years. Likely after doing that math you realize it’s a bad deal.

If you ever let the charge drop below 20%, either from storing it in the winter or mowing too long, your battery will lose capacity. If it goes to 0% for a long time, you fuck the battery up. Oh, and if you charge it above 80% or store it plugged in? Guess what, you lose battery capacity.

I bought the extended five year warranty plan under the theory it will crap out in four and I can replace it for free.

Theyre also mischievous and love to find breaches in your fence, then you may find them on your neighbor's car.
A goat will eat the trees as well, at least the parts it can climb up to. But they are clever animals and make good pets.
