Is this some kind of hit piece on Republicans? Kind of like another "Don't say gay" thing. Trying to flip the pedo script. Or are they, like I assume, ALL corrupt degenerate pedo faggots?

A couple questions I have.

  1. Would common law marriage be considered "contractual?"

  2. Does Tennessee have other laws pertaining to minors and contracts that would... (can't think of the word) ...nullify? the common law marriage if a minor was involved?

That's why I posted about it. I'm legit curious what people think. Regardless of what site it came from the legislation is real. It's not worth doing a huge dig. I just figured some people might have an opinion and maybe some informed answers to my questions.

Is it possible there's already another bill that defines the minimal age for marriage and thus automatically supersedes that proposed legislation?

If yes, that could explain why they haven't bothered mentioning the minimal age in it.
