I did when my elderly mother got covid. I made an entire sub about it, you can read the entire story here: https://poal.co/s/TellPoal/454674
The TL;DR of that sub: mother became extremely ill with pneumonia-like symptoms, so bad I thought she was dying. I took her to her doctor, hoping they'd do some tests and a chest X-ray, and put her on antibiotics. Instead, we got to the office... and a nurse came out, shoved a swab up my mother's nose, went back inside, called us 10 minutes later and said "She has covid, get the fuck out of here right now" (in so many words). I asked what they would do for her, and the only treatment these assholes were willing to provide was the monoclonal antibody transfusion. My mother didn't want to do this, and I didn't want her to- plus, she'd be on a waiting list for a week or longer to get the treatment.
So, trying to be reasonable, I said to the doctor "Can't we try something while waiting for the antibodies? There's a ton of research out there showing the effectiveness of Ivermectin and HCQ." Faggot doctor says "Those aren't approved by FDA for treating covid". So I said "Can you at least prescribe something to treat her symptoms? She is having trouble sleeping because of the cough." Answer- no. I realized: THEY WANT MY MOTHER TO SUFFER SO MUCH THAT SHE DECIDES TO BECOME HOSPITALIZED.
Then, in a wild coincidence (bordering on a MIRACLE), my neighbor overheard me ranting about the situation on the phone with a friend. He asked me "Who has it?", I told him "It's my mother". A few minutes later, a knock at the door- and there he is, holding a blister pack of Ivermectin. Not sure where he got it, but he gave it to me. I did some research, found a study from August 2021 that showed INCREDIBLE results from Ivermectin treatment. I used that study to determine dosage based on my mother's bodyweight, and gave her a 5 day cycle of Ivermectin.
The results: My mother was so sick she couldn't stand up without almost fainting. She was practically on death's door for about 5-7 days with no signs of improvement. TWO DAYS AFTER THE IVERMECTIN BEGAN, SHE WAS UP AND ABOUT TRYING TO CLEAN AND DO OTHER CHORES. She was so bounced-back, I had to keep telling her to stop and rest. On day 3, she tested negative for covid (whatever that's worth), and by the end of the 5 day cycle, she was practically fully refreshed. I should note that I was also giving her a TON of zinc and Vitamin D.
I was also staying with her for this time period. I took no measures to protect myself beyond common sense stuff (frequent hand washing, conscious about touching my face, sanitizing surfaces like doorknobs and light switches regularly, etc.); I am a pureblood, somewhat young man with good health and fitness. According to everything we've been told, I SHOULD HAVE ABSOLUTELY CAUGHT THAT SHIT AND GOTTEN REALLY SICK. I didn't. I was absolutely fine.
TL;DR- Ivermectin obtained from a neighbor saved my mother's life after a DOCTOR refused to do anything for her except pump her full of someone else's blood.
Glad it worked out for your Mother. Well done.
Hope you brought that neighbour a bouquet of grass feed sirloin and garlic mushrooms.
He actually has a sweet tooth for a particular kind of candy- I went to the best chocolate place in my area and bought him far too much of his favorite stuff.
I am still an atheist, but if anything made me want to start believing in miracles or angels or humans operating under the will of God, it was that day. There was literally about a 3 minute window for me to be overheard ranting about this problem on my phone, outside, as my neighbor was getting ready to leave for work. And I just happened to be out there, talking to a person who "gets it" about my mother's condition, loudly enough to be overheard. So many things had to fall into place for me to get that ivermectin as quickly as I did.
Just wow. Yeah coincidence, synchronicity, happenstance, butterfly effect , will of God and all that - one can go through their entire life and never see it or see it all around them or something in between . I still have no idea personally - but i can't completely dismiss it either so i'll definitely take it if i can get it.
